"Aqua Holly"
Bobby Q · 2026
"Aqua Holly" is a refreshing take on anthropomorphic portraiture that brings the majesty of marine life into a purely playful and everyday realm. The artwork presents a charismatic seal posing charmingly, equipped with everything needed for a day of exploration: classic blue and white striped swim trunks, snug-fitting goggles, and a striking snorkel with an orange tip. Here, I play with the sweetness of the animal's gaze and the irony of its attire, creating a fictional character that exudes freshness and charm. A unique piece designed to break the seriousness of any setting and offer a daily dose of optimism.
